The Adept Tool Design team spent some time understanding the requirements of this key component. It forms the overall housing for their latest CPAP product.
Create the possibility
For the project to be commercially viable the aim was to design the tool ensuring easy and cost effective moulding for our client.
Develop the solution
There were a substantial amount of sliding cores / inserts required to get the detail in to this component. the tool proved to be one of our most challenging yet.
Produce the reality
The tooling was manufactured using the latest 5 axis CNC processing techniques. Adept's moulders were put to the test producing the high quality finish for this very visual part.
